The Goal

Foggy Dew Candle Co already had a strong foundation with a functioning Shopify store and a growing range of products. The aim of this Focus Day was to refine the online store experience, improve how products were presented, and remove friction in the wholesale ordering process.

By prioritising a list of practical improvements, the goal was to make the website easier to navigate, strengthen product pages, and ensure both retail and wholesale customers could move through the purchasing process smoothly.

What We Built

During the Focus Day, we focused on improvements that would have the biggest impact on the store experience. This included refining the layout and structure of key pages, improving product presentation, and implementing updates to support wholesale ordering.

Several behind-the-scenes improvements were also completed, including adjustments to navigation, updates to the checkout and ordering flow, and refinements designed to make managing orders and inventory more efficient moving forward.

What Improved

The store is now clearer and easier for customers to browse, with improved product presentation and a more intuitive path from product discovery through to checkout.

Wholesale customers can now order with greater flexibility, allowing larger quantities to be purchased even when stock levels are temporarily low. This supports Foggy Dew’s made-to-order workflow while keeping the online ordering process simple for stockists.

The Result

By the end of the Focus Day, the website had been refined into a stronger and more effective sales tool. The store experience is smoother, product pages are clearer, and the wholesale ordering process better supports the way the business operates.

Instead of a long list of small improvements stretching out over months, the Focus Day allowed the priority updates to be completed in a single dedicated session — giving Foggy Dew Candle Co immediate momentum and a stronger foundation for continued growth.

Following the Focus Day improvements, the Foggy Dew Candle Co online store now presents products more clearly and offers a smoother shopping experience for both retail customers and wholesale stockists.

Product pages have been refined to better highlight the brand and product details, while navigation and layout improvements make it easier for visitors to browse the range and move through the purchasing process.

Behind the scenes, updates to the ordering workflow also support the business’s made-to-order production model, allowing wholesale customers to place larger orders even when stock levels are temporarily low.
